DayClear Allergy Relief provides quick results via its liquid formula with active ingredients such as Chlophedianol HCl (cough suppressant) and Pyrilamine Maleate (antihistamine). It’s effective at relieving typical allergy symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, runny nose, itchy and watery eyes as well as itching in the nose or throat. The single dose contains 1.93 fluid ounces that should last up to eight hours. However, you can save some money by purchasing the larger 8 fluid ounce size, giving you approximately 4 doses. DayClear also says goodbye to unnecessary ingredients like acetaminophen, gluten, sugar, alcohol and artificial dyes and flavors that are often found in other medicines.
I suffer from allergies year-round, but like a lot of other people, spring is one of the worst seasons for me. There seems to be little or no scent as far as I can tell, since ironically my nose is clogged by allergies. The amount of medicine in the single does seems like a lot for just one day, however I decided to take it quickly like a shot since I don’t particularly like the strong, sweet, medicinal taste similar to cough syrup. It also leaves a strong aftertaste. What I do like is that after twenty minutes I noticed relief, and I really appreciate that it does not make you groggy or tired. Most notably, I no longer had itchy, watery eyes which helps me get through my day considering that I am a contact wearer.
Overall, I love transparency of ingredients making it a healthier option, the convenient travel size, and the liquid formula is perfect for those who struggle with or dislike pills, but I could do without the strong flavor.
Real Chemistry - Fresh-Start Foaming Cleanser
Real Chemistry is a science-skin care brand that has put the work in to deliver precise outcomes with organic and DNA-based ingredients. This is not my first experience with the Real Chemistry brand, so I was already excited to try out their Fresh Start Foaming Cleanser. The directions are simple, just like with any cleanser you dampen face and apply dime-sized amount onto finger tips, then massage over the face in light circular motions. This cleanser can be used morning or night and is even gentle enough for use on eyelids and under eye. There is a light, fresh, citrus scent to the product, but it is not noticeable once removed.
I love finding cleansers that work with my skin, considering that I have combination skin, and problems vary depending on how I eat, weather and so forth. The formula is smooth, creamy and spreads easily over the face, giving it that nice foaming texture. It easily lifts impurities, makeup, and oils (sebum). There is no irritation and it does not dry out my skin, but rather leaves my skin feeling healthy and clean. I typically rinse with cool water, use a toner and add a final moisturizer to my routine.
Overall, Fresh Start Foaming Cleanser is a lux, science-based product that is affordable for everyone’s budget, and definitely worth a try! That said, I really wish the sample size was bigger because I love it so much!
The best recommendation I have is to chill it beforehand and shake well. It has a long shelf life and can be stored unrefrigerated, however after opening you should keep it refrigerated and drink it within 7 days. Overall, I loved the drink and find this to be a great healthier alternative to sugary chocolate milk.
The sample packet only contains 2 ounces of salt, but I saved a little for food and the rest I used to soak in a bath. I poured the salts while the bath was filling and swished them around so that they completely dissolved. The refined granules dissipated fairly quickly leaving me time to relax and soak up the healthy benefits. I also paired the salt with organic popcorn, making a delicious healthy snack. Overall, this is a marvelous and healthy alternative to replace your typical table salt, or a number of other beneficial uses.
Loaf Slime - Lavender Aromatherapy Dough
Loaf Slime Lavender Aromatherapy Dough was by far one of the items that I was most excited for in this box. I suffer from anxiety, depression, and other illnesses that make it difficult to cope sometimes and having textures and tactile objects helps to soothe, distract and reduce stress. Even if I am not going through an attack, I find myself playing with the dough, as it speaks to my inner child. What’s great for those who do suffer with any mental illness or just general anxiety, having mindful activity like playing with this Aromatherapy Dough is cathartic and is great to keep on your desk or in a self-care box. It also smells wonderful! The dough has a great texture and I love kneading it in my hands.
That said, I would advise washing your hands before use to keep it clean and ensure the longevity of the product. This is great for people of all ages, whether it’s to decompress, work out your hands, or just to have fun! One more great thing about Loaf Slime is that it's an Etsy shop, and I love to stand behind small businesses whenever I can.
The wipes are sustainably sourced, eco-friendly and made with 100% biodegradable, and compostable. The formula is pH balanced, hypoallergenic, leaves no irritation, and has a light, refreshing lavender scent. Goodwipes also claim to be safely flushable, but after doing more research on flushable wet wipes, I find that this is not necessarily the case. As much as I would like to toss this in the toilet and wish for the best, it’s just as easy for me to pitch it in the trash can, which conveniently most bathrooms have one right in the stall. All things considered, this would not deter me from purchasing and using more of these great wipes.
RawRev - Chunky Peanut Butter Chocolate
Overall, I loved the taste and it makes for a guilt-free indulgent snack between meals or workouts. What’s great is that you can find them at your local Rite Aid or other health food store; use the store locator to find one nearest you!
