The Prep & Set Water Mist setting spray accented with a Rose scent not only serves to set your looks, but can also be used prior to makeup application to hydrate and prime the skin. The floral fragrance definitely helps this spray live up to the Clean Fresh moniker without being overwhelming. It’s not quite as quick to settle in as other sprays, but it seems to keep my makeup in place without prompting my skin to produce excess oils. I also really appreciated the refreshment from giving it another spritz throughout the day during this blazing heat wave! If rose isn't your thing Covergirl also has Cucumber and Citrus Setting Spray with their own unique benefits!
The Hydrating Concealer formula includes coconut milk and aloe for a buttery smooth texture that blends and builds easily. The lighter, more watery consistency allowed me to use a beauty blender to get a perfect finish. The 330 Fair/Light color is a spot-on match to my skin and is what I would normally choose in a foundation, but I would probably go with the lighter Porcelain shade in the future. It doesn’t cake up or settle into my creases and lines thanks to the hydrating properties, and the coverage is excellent, making blemishes disappear.
Overall I’m really encouraged to try out the full line after getting some experience with these two products, and they’re even super affordable and widely available!
