As for the positive mood support, on average I think it’s making a positive impact by reducing my day to day stress level despite everything that is going on in the world.

The only issue I have is with the packaging. The sealed plastic material wrapped around the lid can be easily torn off leaving the entire bottle labelless leaving it unnamed and just a white pill bottle. Also maybe find a more environmentally friendly way to make this bottle.

I used super glue to adhere it back to the bottle.

With a little more time and consistent use I hope it will continue to become more effective in boosting my mood and relieving all the unpleasant period issues. I recommend this to any woman who wants to try a new way to manage their hormonal health.

Vely Vely Aura Honey Glow Cushion

I’ve recently introduced Vely Vely Aura Honey Glow Cushion compact into my makeup routine. This Kbeauty foundation combines both skincare and makeup with its amazing lightweight, dewy formula that enhances one’s skin appearance and hydration.

The packaging, a soft pastel yellow and reflective gold border that wraps the exterior and into the interior of the compact, evokes a luxurious feel and inspires you to glam up your day.

 

Inside is a large mirror, ribbon makeup puff and it’s placeholder that securely encloses the cushion foundation so it doesn't dry out. As an added value, unlike any other compact here in the USA, it comes with a full refill and extra sample sachet of Vely Vely C-Tamin Toner, Serum and Cream.

Some of the amazing ingredients include 31% Belgian Hot Spring Spa Water which has many benefits, such as excellent hydration, reduces dark under-eyes, and provides a natural glow. Honey Glow Propolis adds many of the necessary nutrients for healthy skin. Furthermore, Rainbow Collagen Complex improves skin elasticity and an infusion of White Sapphire for extra radiance.

 

Other noteworthy ingredients are Asiatic Pennywort (Centella Asiatica) enriched with amino acids that soothes and protects skin’s barrier. Panthenol which is both a humectant and emollient that not only binds the moisture to the skin but locks it in. Two final points that I really love about this product are the hypo-allergenic cushion and perhaps more importantly it even has a 50+ SPF and PA+++ rating for sun protection.

This foundation is intended for skin types that fall into normal, dry or combination. I have combination skin that tends to get more oily as the temperature starts to rise so I will certainly see how this hydrating formula collides with the increased oiliness. As of now, with normal Spring temperatures from 50-60 degrees, this has been a perfect fit.

The dewy and hydrating properties bring a soft glow to my foundation, which can also be mattified if necessary by a good powder or taken down with a blotting sheet. The coverage is light to a buildable medium, so if you have problem areas I would recommend the use of a concealer alongside, but otherwise this brings a natural finish to the face with a dewy touch.

 

The application is easy whether by the provided puff or,what I typically like to use, a slightly damp beauty sponge. It reduces the redness in my complexion and doesn’t settle into my fine lines, never looking cakey.

In total, Vely Vely Aura Honey Glow Cushion is a long-lasting foundation that I noticed no separation or no need for touch ups after 8 hours of wear. In my opinion it's perfect for more natural or minimal makeup days. I can’t recommend this enough, if you are looking for a radiant lightweight foundation this is the compact for you!

Vely Vely Aura Honey Glow Cushion

*New* Redken Extreme Bleach Recovery 3 Step System

Anyone who has ever lightened, highlighted or bleached their hair knows that it can be extremely damaging. To combat that, Redken has created a three-step Extreme Bleach Recovery process to help revive brittle and stressed hair.

The Redken Extreme Recovery Shampoo is the first of the three. It’s made with cica to help fortify your hair by nourishing the hair follicles and scalp. Not only does this prep your hair for healthy new growth with its clarifying properties, but leaves your hair soft and shiny as well.

Both the Shampoo and Leave-in Cica Cream have a faint, warm vanilla scent, probably due to having very similar ingredients. I find that it lathers nicely without leaving my hair feeling stripped of nutrients.

After shampooing, the next stage is the Redken Extreme Bleach Recovery Lamellar Treatment. It’s a rinse-out conditioning treatment that absorbs into your hair's porosity to restore moisture, leaving your hair softer and smoother.

Use this directly after shampooing by applying 1-4 doses on mid-lengths to ends, with 10ml to a dose. On the side of the bottle you will even notice dosage markers to help you dispense the correct amount! I recommend pouring little portions of the product into your palm and then working it in as suggested. The only issue I found is that the instructions on the bottle were very tiny and hard to read due to the white font on light blue background, making it a bit more difficult to figure out.

Once massaged into your hair, you feel a warming sensation right away that means it’s working to penetrate the follicles. I like to lightly lather it into my hair; it will not feel like a shampoo or a cream, so just working it in with your fingers gently will do the trick. I felt that it made my hair softer and more manageable, but not quite as much as a traditional conditioner would, which is why I think it’s a must to follow this up with the leave-in cream.

The last part, and in my opinion the most important, is the Redken Extreme Bleach Recovery Cica Cream. 

This leave-in deeply nourishes your hair from the inside out by increasing the strength of your hair between touch ups. It smells just as amazing as the shampoo and leaves my hair incredibly soft to the touch and easier to detangle, too! In my opinion, if you’re going to use the Lamellar Treatment you absolutely cannot skip out on using the highly nourishing Cica Cream.

I’ve been using this product line for about two weeks now, and have definitely seen the condition of my bleach blonde hair improve quite a lot. Not only does my hair feel stronger and easier to brush through, but it’s not as dry and brittle and therefore less hair snaps. I truly believe it is a great three-step system that helps blondes keep their healthy soft and strong, and I’ll be using it for a long time to come.
