My hair tool collection needed a massive update so I took a chance with PYT (Pretty Young Thing) by purchasing their fun and colorful Unicorn Ionic Tourmaline Pro Dryer. While I was at it, I also grabbed their Lola Styling Tool Kit in the beautiful Galaxy pattern.

Thankfully, I had been searching around for a while when I found that HauteLook had them on sale! Keep reading to learn more about HauteLook and what they have to offer. The PYT Unicorn Pro Dryer is made with tourmaline, and just like the rare magical unicorns that adorn this dryer on the outside, inside it's infused with ceramic and tourmaline gemstones. Tourmaline is a rare semi-precious gemstone that only generates negative ions when heated.

While the far-infrared heat dries the hair, the emission of negative ions closes the hair cuticles while retaining moisture, therefor making the hair less frizzy. Equipped with a 1875-watt motor with uniform heat distribution, it is also said to use less heat to dry and is gentler on the hair.

It also comes with two different sized concentrating nozzles, that help to focus on a certain area and control air flow. A great way to use these is by setting the dryer on a lower speed setting with a higher temperature to speed up drying.

I love the size and weight of the dryer compared to what I’ve been using previously. It’s a lot lighter and easier to move around my head and all the buttons are easy to access with one hand. Everything is simple to understand with 3 heat settings for any hair types and 2 speeds to personalize according to your preference. It also includes a standard cool blast button, which is fantastic since hair starts to set as it cools, and this allows you to finalize and lock in that look.

Another great feature I noticed was the additional length of the power cord. My old dryer never gave me enough room around my vanity and I always had to be careful when turning my head upside down to dry (which boosts volume), but this one surpasses it by 3 additional feet making it 9 feet in total. I’m also able to move freely about however I want with its 360° swivel cord.

Not only is the Unicorn Ionic Tourmaline Pro Dryer visually appealing on your vanity, it effectively and efficiently dries your hair. In the past, I'd drastically reduced my hair dryer use is because of my fragile blonde hair, but with this new dryer I've noticed a change in how my hair feels afterwards. Overall it feels softer, more hydrated, less damaged, and easier to style and run my fingers through, so I'll be inclined to use this dryer more frequently than my old ones.

Camiane The Perfect Wedding Mask

The Perfect Wedding Mask from Camiane is a beautifully packaged, two-step filling mask program that will make every day feel like your special day! The first step is a PHA (Poly Hydroxy Acid) filling pack that creates a transparent peel-off mask, which exfoliates, locks in moisture, acts as an antioxidant, and is safe for sensitive skin.

The second stage is a 100% microfiber Triple Hyaluron ampule sheet that contains three different weights of hyaluronic acid that work together to hydrate your skin, and keep it hydrated by acting like a magnet for moisture. Hyaluronic Acid is actually produced by skin cells, and once fully hydrated, the skin will be left feeling incredibly soft, plumped, pillowy, and with a natural glow.

All of this comes contained in a gorgeous shimmering silver and lace package that screams luxury and naturally fits the perfect wedding theme.

I began the first step by removing the super-cute diamond pack from the perforated packaging. Then, snapping the small stem back transformed the gem vial into a squeezable dropper, which I used to apply the somewhat sticky, gel-like substance to my face. It had a very pleasant sweet, fruity scent and was easy to apply with my fingers, taking care of course to avoid the hair so that it wouldn’t be pulled out while peeling the mask off.

I found that the generous amount of liquid in the vial was more than enough to completely cover my face. I proceeded to wait the entire recommended 20 minutes with the mask on, but within the first five I noticed that it had completely set and formed an extremely glossy, smooth, and transparent film on my face.

Afterward, it peeled off very easily from bottom to top, coming off in large pieces at once. Only having completed this initial step, my skin already feels softer and has a slight glow, it definitely succeeded in exfoliating my skin since I could see the dirt and debris left on the mask after pulling it away.

Now for the second step: the sheet mask! Upon opening the second half of the package containing this mask, I immediately noticed a clean, but intense, spicy scent.

There was a second layer included that helped keep the serum in the mask while placing it correctly on the face, which was a welcome addition. The ampule sheet layer underneath felt completely saturated with the hydrating liquid, and gave me chills when I first put it on! I decided to wait the full thirty minutes for this stage of the treatment, and all throughout, the mask continued to provide a wet and cool feeling without sliding at all as I went about my business around the house.

When the time was up, I removed the mask to reveal that my skin was definitely soft, felt tighter and the nice glow from before was still present. It did have a bit of a tacky feeling as well, but nothing that would stop me from using this mask again.

All said and done, I thought this was a wonderful spa-like experience brought right into my home in a beautiful package, which also makes it an amazing gift idea to give this holiday season. It’s also unique to see two usually separate masking processes combined into one product that results in radiant looking skin.
