Bye Bye Blemishes! This set has been my go-to summer night routine and still is as we head into the fall. I’ve struggled with acne my entire life, even into my thirties, so making the choice to select this starter kit from Erno Laszlo has been a perfect fit. I wanted to give Jessica from the Laszlo team a big thank you for reaching out and inviting me to be a part of the “Laszlo Icons.”

This is not my first experience with the brand as I had tried and fallen in love with their Sea Mud Deep Cleansing Bar, which is a powerful cleansing bar that instantly refreshes and balances your skin’s oil with 26 minerals. A definite must in anyone’s routine!

Plus other little goodies like an adorable scrunchie, stickers and Marilyn Monroe’s skincare ritual. It's evident that Erno Laszlo has been around for quite some time helping such icons as Monroe, Greta Garbo and even Audrey Hepburn.

To start I used the Exfoliate & Detox Pore Refining Detox Double Cleanse which includes a formula of super fruits like pineapple, Jujube and kiwi that help clarify and smooth skin. This cleanser reminds me of the Sea Mud Bar, but with an easier application and a nice lather.

I followed this with the Exfoliate & Detox Cleansing Clay Mask, a mineral enriched, pink hued, creamy mask that was easy to spread and set comfortably on the face for the 15 minutes. It is a relatively lightweight mask that works hard to remove impurities but leaves your face soft and hydrated from the rosewater. I love masking so I was happy to see this included in the kit!

Next, I applied the Exfoliate & Detox Light Controlling Lotion, which is a toner that removes surface oils and heals skin with anti-inflammatory botanicals that support natural tissue repair. Even though it contains Alcohol Denat. it did not strip my skin of hydration, but I have oily skin so maybe it could be harsh for sensitive skin.

Lastly, and of my favorites of the set, is the Hydrate & Nourish Phelityl Night Cream. This one is a lightweight formula that soaks right into the skin without any greasy feeling and works hard to match one’s skin pH and restores naturally found fatty acids for a glowing complexion. It can also be applied to the neck and decollete area for an encompassing nightly moisturizer.

I’m honestly upset that I love these so, because each product is quite pricey for my teacher’s budget, but definitely worth the investment for my skin. After a month of use and the stresses of daily life and the process of moving I found this ritual to combat stress acne successfully. Overall, if you can indulge, I would suggest you try Erno Laszlo out even if it’s just the Sea Mud Bar. These are exceptional skincare products that work strikingly well!

Camiane The Perfect Wedding Mask

The Perfect Wedding Mask from Camiane is a beautifully packaged, two-step filling mask program that will make every day feel like your special day! The first step is a PHA (Poly Hydroxy Acid) filling pack that creates a transparent peel-off mask, which exfoliates, locks in moisture, acts as an antioxidant, and is safe for sensitive skin.

The second stage is a 100% microfiber Triple Hyaluron ampule sheet that contains three different weights of hyaluronic acid that work together to hydrate your skin, and keep it hydrated by acting like a magnet for moisture. Hyaluronic Acid is actually produced by skin cells, and once fully hydrated, the skin will be left feeling incredibly soft, plumped, pillowy, and with a natural glow.

All of this comes contained in a gorgeous shimmering silver and lace package that screams luxury and naturally fits the perfect wedding theme.

I began the first step by removing the super-cute diamond pack from the perforated packaging. Then, snapping the small stem back transformed the gem vial into a squeezable dropper, which I used to apply the somewhat sticky, gel-like substance to my face. It had a very pleasant sweet, fruity scent and was easy to apply with my fingers, taking care of course to avoid the hair so that it wouldn’t be pulled out while peeling the mask off.

I found that the generous amount of liquid in the vial was more than enough to completely cover my face. I proceeded to wait the entire recommended 20 minutes with the mask on, but within the first five I noticed that it had completely set and formed an extremely glossy, smooth, and transparent film on my face.

Afterward, it peeled off very easily from bottom to top, coming off in large pieces at once. Only having completed this initial step, my skin already feels softer and has a slight glow, it definitely succeeded in exfoliating my skin since I could see the dirt and debris left on the mask after pulling it away.

Now for the second step: the sheet mask! Upon opening the second half of the package containing this mask, I immediately noticed a clean, but intense, spicy scent.

There was a second layer included that helped keep the serum in the mask while placing it correctly on the face, which was a welcome addition. The ampule sheet layer underneath felt completely saturated with the hydrating liquid, and gave me chills when I first put it on! I decided to wait the full thirty minutes for this stage of the treatment, and all throughout, the mask continued to provide a wet and cool feeling without sliding at all as I went about my business around the house.

When the time was up, I removed the mask to reveal that my skin was definitely soft, felt tighter and the nice glow from before was still present. It did have a bit of a tacky feeling as well, but nothing that would stop me from using this mask again.

All said and done, I thought this was a wonderful spa-like experience brought right into my home in a beautiful package, which also makes it an amazing gift idea to give this holiday season. It’s also unique to see two usually separate masking processes combined into one product that results in radiant looking skin.

Beauty Kitchen Marionberry Martini Face Mask & Rosewater Spray

No matter what age your skin is, everyone can benefit from Beauty Kitchen’s 100% natural skincare. It has been a delight being able to try not just one, but two of their products. The first being Beauty Kitchen’s Rosewater Spray. It’s simple, as the spray’s only ingredient is rosewater itself and helps to reduce redness, irritation and inflammation. Furthermore, it can balance out PH levels, tone skin, minimize pores and even cool skin that has been sunburned.

There are many uses for this spray: It’s good to keep on hand to freshen your skin throughout the day with its cooling properties, or you can use it with clay masks instead of water. It smells of soft rose petals and feels instantly relieving to the skin. I like to carry this around and spritz my face and neck when my skin feels tired and dry. I also like that it doesn’t affect a full face of makeup and feels wonderful.

The next amazing product from Beauty Kitchen is their versatile Marionberry Martini Face Mask. It’s a purple jelly formula that is mainly made of marionberry, a hybrid of blackberries that is enriched with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. More amazing ingredients include organic aloe leaf juice, holy basil leaf extract, turmeric root extract, and eggplant fruit extract.

Speaking of versatility, this aloe gel can be used as a moisturizer for face, body, lips, eyes, or you could even use it as a facial mask. To use as a moisturizer wherever, apply a thin and even layer. For masking, apply a generous amount of gel over face and let it set for 15-20 minutes before rinsing away. Although very purple in the container, it spreads almost clear, and wont stain skin or clothes since it’s made with plant-derived colorants. It smells absolutely amazing, and although I never drink martinis, I would be tempted to try one if it’s anything like this product smells!

I have since tried using it in all the different ways I mentioned, and it has become a favorite of mine. The three ways I incorporate this into my routine begin with applying it as a moisturizer in the morning before my makeup. I noticed it was able to calm my oiliness and help mattify my problem t-zone area, all while leaving my skin feeling nourished. Second, I love using it on my lips. Up here in the brisk Michigan weather, my lips are constantly dried and cracked, but once applied I feel an instantaneous softening and I know its okay if I ingest a little since it’s made with natural ingredients. Lastly, using it as a facial mask, my skin feels clean, soft and amazing afterwards.

Overall, I love both of these natural skincare products. The prices are definitely a little high, but you absolutely get what you pay for in this case. It’s impressive that they’re made from fresh and simple ingredients that you could make at home if you were determined. Love to Beauty Kitchen and Heather Marianna for creating an amazing, healthy skincare line that I can turn to without hesitation because I know the ingredients are safe and reliable.

Glowhill Xenoverse Black Glow Peel-off Mask

Blast off to a galaxy of glitter with Glowhill Xenoverse Black Glow Peel-off Mask! This shimmery mask allows for deep infiltration of pores to remove excess sebum, oils and dirt from your face with amazing ingredients like tourmaline and charcoal.

The Black Tourmaline rock, known for its extraordinary healing powers and acting as a shield against destructive forces, also vitalizes skin making it more radiant and youthful with anti-aging properties. As most of us know, the benefit of charcoal is that it helps to draw out micro-particles such as dirt, debris and impurities from our skin.

Other ingredients included are Pearl Powder that brightens skin tone and hydrates, along with Amethyst Powder that increases circulation and promotes cell repair. More featured ingredients are Sang-Hwang Mushroom, Elderberry, Blackberry, Rose, Olive, Ginseng Root, Green Tea Leaf, White Mulberry Leaf, Chestnut Leaf, Brown Algae, Kudzu Root, Licorice Root, and Arbutin.

Since fifty percent of the fun in getting a new product is the appeal of the packaging, Glowhill really hit the mark. I love the luminescent box as well as the extras that came along with the mask itself, such as a fluffy yellow polka dotted headband and a sheet of fun stickers, which were also given in my last review of the Glowhill Glam Gold Mask.

Inside the jar, you can see tiny flakes of glitter from all sorts of colors from blue, gold, pink and silver. They’re tiny and refined, making a beautiful product unlike any other mask that I’ve seen before.

I more than happy to dive right in and start painting this glimmering mask on. Glowhill even provided a silicone spatula that helped spread the mask.

If you have never used a peel-off mask before, one tip is to coat a thick and even layer in order to easily remove it in bigger pieces once it dries.

The texture was not too sticky nor clumpy and even gave me enough time to apply to my entire face without pulling product away. I lathered the mask on, and even though it only requires 15-20 minutes, I let it set for 30 minutes since I love going that that extra mile.

To get hard to reach spots around your nose, don’t be afraid to use your fingers to apply a little. It only takes a couple minutes for it truly dry and leaves a smooth, glossy texture that is tight on your face, but nothing abnormally uncomfortable for a peel off mask.

Peeling this mask off was really easy since I was able to remove the entirety of it in one piece, but I can see how it may feel a little unpleasant for those with sensitive skin. You’ll also want to avoid your hairline, because it has a strong bond and will pull hairs out!

My skin feels incredibly soft, the oils were cleansed from my face without drying it out, and best of all it gave me a light glow. I’ve noticed some comments about glitter being left behind by this mask, but I did not see any.

With the Xenoverse Black Glow Peel-off Mask, Glowhill has delivered a product that is truly out of this world. I’m extremely impressed with everything, from the premium packaging, the effectiveness, all the way down to just how beautiful the glittery mask itself looks.
