Elizavecca Moisture Hyaluronic Acid Memory Cream

One of my favorite brands, Elizavecca, is back again with Moisture Hyaluronic Acid Memory Cream! This pretty light-blue cream takes its name from the fact that the formula has shape memory, meaning no matter how it’s been stirred or mixed up, it returns to its original form over time.

It contains a potent combination of naturally occurring and moisture-boosting Hyaluronic Acid, Allantoin, and Adenosine. The Allantoin and Adenosine in particular provide powerful anti-aging properties by helping to hydrate, smooth wrinkles, soothe, heal, and protect the skin from ultraviolet light.

As usual, it all comes in Elizavecca’s uniquely adorable packaging with a cute tiny spatula!

Just to observe the “memory” part of this cream, I started out by giving it a good stir until it was uneven and clumpy in the container. Right before my eyes, it began to smooth out and recombine until it was like I’d never touched it. The bouncy, jelly-like cream is actually fun to play around with in the container and is actually a nice sensory experience.

To apply it, I removed it in a gel-like clump from the container using the nifty spatula, which had an instant cooling sensation that melted away with the heat of my skin as it turned into a moist, clear liquid. Once fully applied to my face, I also noticed a very faint floral scent that’s pleasant, but not overwhelming or off-putting at all.  It absorbed rather quickly, but didn’t completely sink in, so my face felt soft and hydrated.

Going in, I expected it to be a heavy cream and problematic for my oily skin, but I have yet to experience any clogging or other adverse reactions. Based on my results, I think this is a great moisturizer for people with either dry or combination skin.

It’s also worth noting that alongside the very gentle main ingredients, this product is completely paraben, sulfate, alcohol, and allergen free. Just a small dab is enough to get total coverage, so it’ll be a while before I need more, but I’ll certainly be turning to Elizavecca Moisture Hyaluronic Acid Memory Cream again in the future.

Elizavecca Witch Piggy Hell-Pore Bifida Pure Ample

Elizavecca Witch Piggy Hell-Pore Bifida is a pure ampoule that revives skin of its dryness, dullness and overall exasperation, while boosting moisture retention and tightening the elasticity of one’s skin.

Once my box arrived I knew exactly what it was because of the highly recognizable Witch Piggy. The character is prominently displayed doing mischievous things all over the box. Unboxing it, I found the quirky cartoon Witch Piggy continued throughout, displaying the fun character flying around on the dropper soaking up the benefits of this formula. I appreciate the weight and size, since it’s housed nicely in an amber glass bottle containing 50ml (or 1.69 fluid ounces) of formula. The glass dropper lets you precisely dispense the number of drops needed.

The formula is made up of 100% Bifida Ferment Lysate, which helps to boost hydration and brightness of skin, while counteracting oxidative skin damage due to UV light exposure. Other benefits to the skin are vitamins, antioxidants and amino acids that are created during the yeast fermentation.

It has a texture slightly thicker than water, no color and no scent. Despite the somewhat watery texture, it still absorbs nicely into the skin. This can be applied twice daily, morning and night, and I like to apply it before I moisturize in the morning and finish with my makeup. I find that it only takes about 3-4 drops to cover my face and neck, then dries rather quickly once dabbed lightly into the skin, leaving no residue behind. So far, I’ve had no adverse reactions or irritations and it worked well with my oily skin.

It’s been about a week and a half since I started using this, and I’ve noticed improvement in dryness and smoothness of my face. I’ve also observed a slight improvement in brightness of my darker spots. Overall, it’s a great ampoule that boosts the skin’s hydration and radiance without a heavy scent or feel, leaving my skin feeling soft and supple.
