Beauty Kitchen Marionberry Martini Face Mask & Rosewater Spray

No matter what age your skin is, everyone can benefit from Beauty Kitchen’s 100% natural skincare. It has been a delight being able to try not just one, but two of their products. The first being Beauty Kitchen’s Rosewater Spray. It’s simple, as the spray’s only ingredient is rosewater itself and helps to reduce redness, irritation and inflammation. Furthermore, it can balance out PH levels, tone skin, minimize pores and even cool skin that has been sunburned.

There are many uses for this spray: It’s good to keep on hand to freshen your skin throughout the day with its cooling properties, or you can use it with clay masks instead of water. It smells of soft rose petals and feels instantly relieving to the skin. I like to carry this around and spritz my face and neck when my skin feels tired and dry. I also like that it doesn’t affect a full face of makeup and feels wonderful.

The next amazing product from Beauty Kitchen is their versatile Marionberry Martini Face Mask. It’s a purple jelly formula that is mainly made of marionberry, a hybrid of blackberries that is enriched with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. More amazing ingredients include organic aloe leaf juice, holy basil leaf extract, turmeric root extract, and eggplant fruit extract.

Speaking of versatility, this aloe gel can be used as a moisturizer for face, body, lips, eyes, or you could even use it as a facial mask. To use as a moisturizer wherever, apply a thin and even layer. For masking, apply a generous amount of gel over face and let it set for 15-20 minutes before rinsing away. Although very purple in the container, it spreads almost clear, and wont stain skin or clothes since it’s made with plant-derived colorants. It smells absolutely amazing, and although I never drink martinis, I would be tempted to try one if it’s anything like this product smells!

I have since tried using it in all the different ways I mentioned, and it has become a favorite of mine. The three ways I incorporate this into my routine begin with applying it as a moisturizer in the morning before my makeup. I noticed it was able to calm my oiliness and help mattify my problem t-zone area, all while leaving my skin feeling nourished. Second, I love using it on my lips. Up here in the brisk Michigan weather, my lips are constantly dried and cracked, but once applied I feel an instantaneous softening and I know its okay if I ingest a little since it’s made with natural ingredients. Lastly, using it as a facial mask, my skin feels clean, soft and amazing afterwards.

Overall, I love both of these natural skincare products. The prices are definitely a little high, but you absolutely get what you pay for in this case. It’s impressive that they’re made from fresh and simple ingredients that you could make at home if you were determined. Love to Beauty Kitchen and Heather Marianna for creating an amazing, healthy skincare line that I can turn to without hesitation because I know the ingredients are safe and reliable.

Glowhill GLAM GOLD Make Up Facial Mask

Glowhill’s GLAM GOLD Make Up Facial Mask is certainly a first for me, since it’s the only masking product I’ve tried that contains actual gold and diamond powder! Glowhill claims that this mask will grant a healthier, more lively skin tone while also providing a slight gold-pearl glow.

The kit I received from 0.8L included five of these masks, stickers, seven Total Solution Glow Ampoule Pads, along with a bonus adorable, fluffy headband.

To prepare for this mask, I started by washing my face with Huangjisoo Deep Clean foaming cleanser (which I reviewed here), used my Dickinson’s Pore Perfecting toner, and finally I tried out the included Glowhill Total Solution Glow Ampoule Pads.

These pads are designed to clear and moisturize the face after cleaning, and sport a fresh, clean lemon scent. I noticed instantly that there is a great amount of oily-feeling moisturizing liquid held inside them, and could really feel the exfoliation from the pad itself.

After just a minute or so of setting time, the oily feeling went away and left my skin dewy and lemony fresh. Now that I have some experience with it, I think that I could’ve gone without toning, and in my opinion, it even made up for not using serum or essence. It’s even recommended to get some extra use out of each pad after using on your face by applying to dry areas, such as the knees and elbows.

Now, onto the Glam Gold mask: At first, I felt it was a little bit large for me, but it still sits very well on the face. Given that, I would imagine it will work out great for all shapes and sizes. I also found that everything stayed perfectly in place as I went about doing other tasks.

As I was waiting to remove the mask, I noticed that the product had a very faint gold coloration and a lot of glitter, too. When I removed it, the same moist, golden shimmer was left behind on my skin. There’s only a very slight, clean scent to the mask, which is definitely nothing overwhelming and very suitable for sensitive people.

In addition to the beautiful sheen, my face felt soft, refreshed, and dewy. I can wholeheartedly recommend this mask, and I’m very excited to use the other four in the kit for some much needed me-time!
