In total I have eight, yes, EIGHT piercings in my ears! It’s been a constant struggle to keep and maintain ear health since my ears react to everything and are highly sensitive. For instance, I can only wear costume jewelry for short periods at a time. I mainly wear studs in 6 of my piercings, but that can be a bit pricey!

I was more than happy to replace my old earrings with Studex. I easily pitched out the old ones and used their After Piercing Lotion to clean up and prevent further irritation. This lotion is not only great for those with freshly pierced ears, but for frequent cleaning and ear health maintenance as well. I like to do this every week to two weeks to remove buildup grime and disinfect any bacteria that has built up over the week, which wards off infection and keeps your ears feeling great.
Since I switched, I have noticed that the previous swelling and redness has disappeared, and overall comfort and ease of wear have been excellent. I will be purchasing more to fully replace all my studs, and have a few for backup since I am prone to losing earrings. That’s okay though, because they are easily affordable and available in many locations. Click here to find them on Amazon!
