Lapalette No.9 Water Pack Cleanse / 01 Jelly Jelly Lemon

Lapalette Beauty No.9 Water Pack Cleanse is a magical jelly cleanser that helps to detox, brighten and moisturize. Inside the 01 Jelly Jelly Lemon formula, you'll find 95% natural originated ingredients such as lemon fruit extract, celery extract, pineapple extract and glycolic acid just to name a few.

The gelatinous material settles inside the tub so you need to mix well before use, but thankfully they provided a decent sized spatula (normally sold separately) to help stir it up.

The large tub itself is 8.81 ounces, and after finding out a little bit of the jelly goes a long way, I think this practically last a lifetime. The fresh lemon and grapefruit scent is scrumptious and only overbearing when smelled directly from the tub, however it completely settles down when applying to your skin.

Once mixed, lather a small portion (trust me, you can add too much!) of the cooling hydrogel to on your face and add water. Then, watch it turn into a glorious foam right before your eyes. The rich foaming action penetrates every nook and cranny while removing stubborn mascara, but just like with any cleanser, be careful to not get any into your eyes.

I had no adverse reactions, but everyone’s skin reacts differently, so be sure to test a small portion of any product before applying to your entire face or body. 

After washing away the lathered foam, my skin immediately felt hydrated, supple and refreshed. It also removed all my makeup easily, provided that I used a cloth.

Once dried, I noticed a slight tightening of the skin and a soft glow to its appearance. Lapalette also claims it will help with fine lines, wrinkles and pigmentation from the ingredient snow algae powder, but only time will tell with continued use.

I truly believe this product is an exceptional cleanser that takes the monotony out of your routine to provide a fun texture experience thanks to the gel-to-foam transformation. Not to mention it's a great way to remove all your makeup without drying out your skin, which will be perfect for the upcoming winter.

Noosa Yoghurt Cups

It’s surprising to me, since I am a longtime fan of Noosa Mates (Coconut Almond Chocolate is the best!), that this is the first time trying their classic pureed yogurt. I was really hoping my Meijer would have carried the salted caramel or pumpkin varieties, but I picked up several of the classic flavors, including lemon, blueberry, raspberry and strawberry rhubarb.

I even picked up more Noosa Mates and a Noosa Pair in the flavor caramel & apple! Knowing each delicious cup is made with whole milk, real fruit and is completely GMO free, I was sure that they would all be delicious. What’s unique about Noosa is that it’s made in small batches, that way each cup is just as extraordinarily flavorful as the next.

The individual classic Noosa cups are quite large and make a for a very filling snack or a morning breakfast. The consistency is thick, creamy and absolutely delicious with a great combination of sweet and tart mixed fruit puree. I love that this isn’t a sharp tart taste and rather prefer mine on the sweeter side when it comes to picking yogurts.

The classics contain just the right portion of puree compared to yogurt. In each cup (excluding lemon), there are real pieces of fruit like the blueberries to give it a little texture and extra zing.

Now let’s talk about nutrition; Noosa contains naturally occurring sugar from whole milk, however with the added sugar that leads to a range between 30-35 grams of sugar in each cup. That’s already exceeding the daily limit sugar intake for women according to the American Heart Association.

Another downside is the plastic waste even though the actual containers are recyclable (#5), it is a real noosance (see what I did there, ha!)  since your center may not accept that type. Although the foil lids are fun with their witty little sayings, they are just as wasteful and I would love to see them implement a different, environmentally conscious packaging that is still just as fun.

Overall, I am still a Noosa fan and eat this in moderation, as with any high sugar intake product, or have them every once in a while as a treat. I am also thankful I was able to venture outside of the Noosa Mates to try the Classics and will certainly add them to shopping cart next time.

I loved the texture of these; they tasted like natural fruit gummies that are easy to chew and not rubbery like other vitamin gummies. The recommended dosage is 6 gummies daily for adult women. I'm used to the normal 2 gummies recommended from other brands, but since they are so tasty I can make an exception!

I did feel a slight energy boost after taking these which may have been the slight amount of sugar or just the fact I am making a healthy conscious choice, but I know it will take at least several weeks of continued use to start seeing results of improved health. However, based on the gummies themselves, the premium taste and ingredients I would easily make the switch.
