I am beyond happy with my new Nescafe Dolce Gusto Esperta 2
by Delonghi and how much easier it has made my mornings. It’s a pod coffee
machine that allows you to be creative in making al
l sorts of drinks, from your typical coffees and espressos, to specialty coffees like macchiatos and lattes. Unlike other machines, you can even make iced drinks and teas. This has brought back memories of when I was a barista a few years back, and helps motivate me to wake up early each morning.
The design of the machine is highly modern and easily fits
onto my counter space. I absolutely love the newly updated water tank that is
sleek and can fit up to 59 fluid ounces. The entire machine is easy to clean
with the removable drip tray. I also like that it came with a little black
trash can to dispose of your pods quickly, especially if you have this placed
in an office or wherever a trash bin is not in the immediate vicinity.
Do clean the machine at least once before use as
recommended. That is the only time I needed to use the instructions because the
machine is pretty self-explanatory.
However, I did wish that there was a
printed booklet of drink guides to go through until I got the hang of it, or at
least some sort of reference, since it does take a little time to learn each
new specialty drink. UPDATE: I contacted the company about this and they only referred me to their website, a bit unfortunate. So I will probably make my own little pamphlet.
Some other unique features are the hot and cold option,
and the dial to customize the cup size.
I would be great if Nescafe partnered up with
Terracycle. I would love to see
that in the future because the pods are such a waste and negatively impact the
environment.
Overall this has overthrown my traditional coffee machine
and has saved me a lot of money and trips to the coffee shop. I am currently
ordering a wider variety of the flavored pods and can’t wait to try them,
especially the Chai Tea Latte!
