Ipsy Glam Bag June 2018 Flying Colors

Ipsy is a beauty subscription service that sends you five beauty products each month based on your preferences in an Ipsy Glam Bag. Inside you will find that the products range between deluxe-sized and full-sized, and every month they arrive in a different cute little makeup bag. Ipsy, like other subscriptions, gives the opportunity to expand your makeup collection inexpensively. At only $10 a month with free shipping, you'll discover everything from new brands to expensive brands, and even products that you might never have been aware of. (Click here to join Ipsy for only $10)

This is my second bag and I am hooked already! When compared to Birchbox at the same price, I'd say the amount of deluxe and full-sized products has been more rewarding with Ipsy. I am ecstatic to share with you everything I received this month with an in-depth review of the June Ipsy Glam Bag!

PACIFICA Mineral 5 Eyeshadow Palette / Tomboy Vibe
Pacifica and Ipsy have teamed up to create the Tomboy Vibe palette that offers 5 mineral eyeshadows. The five shades included, from left to right, are Tomboy (shimmery brown), 1970 (matte chartreuse), Pretty Vacant (shimmery oragney-peach), Schooled (matte brown), and Rebel (deep, matte tangerine).

All are easily wearable and provide a cohesive palette that allow you to create fun looks. These are great colors for the summer and my absolute favorites out of the palette are Rebel and 1970. The color pay off is significant and the formula is light and buttery, with buildable and blendable coverage for each shade.

Amazingly, there is also a very faint sweet smell. This is a great little palette that has now introduced me to a new brand and I’m interested in checking out more of their cruelty free and vegan products!

How to get the “Sunset Smokey Eye” (provided by Ipsy)
1. Using a fluffy shadow brush, sweep “Pretty Vacant” (shimmery peachy orange) across your entire lid.
2. Blend “Rebel” (deep tangerine) into your crease using a windshield wiper motion.
3. Using a domed (crease) brush, apply “Schooled” (matte brown) to the outer corners of your eyes, blending into crease.
4. Using a wet angled liner brush, press “Schooled” (matte brown) into your upper and lower lashlines to define your eyes.

MAC Prep + Prime Skin is a lightweight gel lotion that helps prepare the surface of your skin by cancelling out redness and evens the tone of your face. It’s made with a “special-effects” silicone that help create a smooth surface for your foundation. I can confirm that it definitely boosts radiance, since I can see the illumination and it even has tiny specs of glimmer that help reflect light.

The primer has a creamy formula that works into a smooth finish. *One tip: use a light hand when applying and don’t go overboard, that way it’s not too shimmery and doesn’t separate your foundation. I would give it a 3/5 on blurring benefits to reduce the appearance of pores. Overall, I loved the extra sparkle and is a decent primer.

What’s not to love about Hey Honey Propolis & Mineral Facial Scrub? It contains amazing ingredients that exfoliate pores and remove dirt and grime, helping to reduce appearance of pores and smooth the skin.

The main ingredient includes Propolis, made by bees when they combine their saliva and beeswax, that is harvested from tree buds and sap flows. Propolis helps to heal, soothe and restore one’s skin.

The formula is made up of fine crystallized beads that softly but effectively scrub away the oils and dirt from your face. It smells great with it's soft, sweet honey scent and is an amazing facial scrub that makes your face feeling refreshed afterward. I can most definitely see purchasing this in the future.

Unicorn Lovers rejoice! BioBelle's #UnicornGlow Perfect Radiance Tencel Facial Mask simply has the cutest packaging and appeals to all those unicorn lovers out there. It’s a sheet mask that is completely free of parabens, gluten and GMOs. It’s made with all-natural ingredients such as antioxidant-enriched chocolate and mulberry which helps illuminate, brighten and even your skin.

What’s the best part? They are even biodegradable since they are made with Tencel fiber, which is wood pulp that sits comfortably on your face and helps with the absorption of it’s amazing ingredients. I love that I received two masks, since it’s always great to see what results you get with multiple applications over time.

I am so happy that I received the Finding Ferdinand's Flaming Fuchsia mini lip stick, since it’s the color I would have chosen out of all the options (Rose Gold, Au Naturel) available.

The formula is light weight, semi-shine and very creamy. It even has the addition of SPF and beeswax that provide sun protection. The lipstick is vibrant in color, and honestly, just one swipe is all you really need. However, this is not a transfer proof lipstick, but I'm not surprised since creamy lipsticks usually aren’t. Once the main layer has diminished just by going about my day eating and drinking, there is still some of the tint left behind, which is better than I expected.

Although I do find their full-sized lipstick to be a bit pricey at $30, Finding Ferdinand allows you to customize your own shade of lipstick, which is pretty amazing!
