To begin, shake the container to activate and apply to your skin, either with clean fingers or a cotton round, and dab lightly until it’s completely absorbed. There is a light sweet scent, I’m guessing from the kiwi, and for non-sensitive sniffers it’s not bothersome at all.
My only complaint about the bottle design is that it has some sort of cap issue. I love the nozzle and how you can easily release a little product at a time, but the cap doesn’t seal to prevent liquid filling up the void and leaking out.
I was a bit apprehensive how this might work with my oily skin, considering the claims to “create a glowing canvas” would mean that you’d see my face radiate with oiliness from miles away. However, the water-light formula quickly absorbed and left my skin with a soft, natural glow and more matte than I expected.
It made the application of my foundation smooth and even. The real test was to see the results after applying makeup and how it held throughout the day. After a few hours of my day, I noticed no significant increase of oiliness, thankfully. Another point that I love is how comfortable and hydrated my skin felt even after being exposed to the harsh winter wind.
