Advil Menstrual Pain

When I usually think of Advil, I don't think of it being next to tampons, pads or other menstrual pain relief medicine. I often just take the classic Advil for headaches or muscle pains, but I was excited to see the brand tackle a common issue most women deal with every month with their new Menstrual Pain formula.

I was skeptical at first since I am used to taking the other comparable brands for menstrual relief and often those don't completely take away the pain. My cramps are often severe for the first two days, so there is no way I can make it without taking some sort of medicine.

After all, I can't control when my period strikes so I like that Advil Menstrual Pain is non-drowsy and caffeine-free which means I can take it no matter the time of day. Advil MP also contains no antihistamine which is commonly used to reduce the bloating feeling you get on your period. I personally don't have a severe issue with bloating, but it's something you might want to consider. The duration of pain relief is up to six hours which is almost enough to keep me going through a long work day, and if not I just bring the little bottle everywhere I go.

The pills are easy enough to swallow and within 10-15 minutes I start to notice complete relief. Since I am a preschool teacher, I can't let cramps stop me from doing what's most important. I have been using Advil MP for about three months now and love that it eliminates my lower back pain, subdues my intense cramps and alleviates typical soreness during that lovely time of the month.

I also want to give a big thank you to Smiley 360 for the opportunity be a part of their community and providing me with a year supply of Advil Menstrual Pain.
