EarthKind Stay Away Prevention Repellents

Sometimes things just happen right when you need them to and I am so thankful for Social Nature to help my family and I out with some pesky problems that we have had this year.

I was able to try both EarthKind Stay Away
Botanical Moth Repellent
Botanical Rodent Repellent

Botanical Moth Repellent
This is the first time ever using a moth repellent, since my house doesn’t currently have any issues with moths. Instead, I used the repellent at our vacation house up north, a place where moths and spiders are prevalent. I also picked up a more than one (free pouch) since I knew they would come in handy. The biggest problem area is the main bedroom on the first floor.

EarthKind combines essential oils that smell great to us, but works to safely repel moths. The ingredients in the moth repellent are as listed, geranium, cedar and geraniol and smell amazing once unpackaged. I love that this a natural repellent, because I try to be chemical-free as possible. The pouches are a nice size and doesn’t inconvenient any space that you place them. Easily unwrap pouch from the clear plastic covering and place in problem areas. I used mine in drawers and in couple of corners of the room (dark areas).

After a few months, I visited again and found that I haven’t had anymore issues with the moths coming back. It does say that the pouches only last 30-60 days so I will have to check back again to see if they are still working.

Botanical Rodent Repellent
Ever since we moved a couple of items that were stored in a barn into our garage we were having mice issues. They were getting into our items, ripping them apart, and we were afraid they might get in the house. This rodent repellent couldn’t have come at a better time! We did have to go to Lowes several times since they were sold out.

Once we were able to get our hands on it, we stocked up and I bought more than one pouch since it says 4 pouches for a single car garage, so we placed about 6 as recommend 8ft apart. The pouches right out of the box smell great since they are made with essential oils and other natural ingredients to safely repel rodents.

The main areas we placed them were near entry ways into the house and garage door. It’s been about 3 weeks since we cleaned up everything, droppings and all, and we haven’t seen any new droppings or problem areas. So far, I think this has worked great to prevent the mice, and although this is a preventative I feel like the mice that were once in our garage are gone now. I absolutely love this product and would purchase more in the future if needed. I also hate mouse traps, or killing creatures if it can be avoided, and I think this is great way to prevent it.

Overall, the Stay Away pouches from EarthKind are effective, safe and affordable for any household. It has now become my go-to company for future for moth, spider or rodent issues.

Where to Buy?
You can find these and more at your Lowes by purchasing individually or buy in bulk online. However, in both cases I did have to go to Lowes a couple of times to get them since they were always sold out. I am sure that's not the case anymore because I was looking for them when they first came out on shelves.
