Garnier Halloween Style VoxBox

Salutations!

It's never too late to share my experience with Garnier Style! I was able to receive two amazing full sized products from Influenster VoxBox. This was just for Halloween costume preparation and my hair needed that extra finesse.  

Lets start with the first product, Garnier Flat Iron Perfector Straightening Mist which pairs nicely with naturally straight hair.

I was a bit skeptical where this straightening mist would fit in my life, since I don’t usually straighten my hair that often because my hair is already naturally straight. However, it works great for days when I have had my hair up all day, which leaves it wavy and creased. It also comes in handy when I have wake up with my hair all wavy and tousled. I spray from mid-length down to the ends and 1-2 pumps per area, then I take my hands and run it through the ends while working it in. Even before using the flat iron I notice my hair instantly become more nourished and flattened.

I now use it after I have mostly dried my hair with the blow dryer. I find it works as a great tamer of fly-aways and a great heat protector, whether you are using a flat iron or not. Just like the other products in this line, it smells fresh with citrus and tangy notes. Overall, I think offers versatile use with other heating tools to provide optimal thermal protection. I also absolutely love the fact that it moisturizes my hair with the argan oil.

The second product was the Garnier Style Brilliantine Shine Glossing Spray that provides optimal shine and nourishment.

I really enjoy this shine spray as long as I apply the right amount. I usually add it after I have completed my look, or when I need a little pick-me-up after a long day and my hair looks and feels dried out. I was also able to use this shine spray, along with the Flat Iron Perfector, to complete my Halloween look this year! 

I've got long and bleach dyed hair, so it can appear damaged or dull if not taken care of. I find that this spray gives it just the right shine and provides smoothness when my hair desperately needs it. I think a little goes a long way, because even though my hair is medium thickness, it can easily become greasy looking if I apply too much of this spray. It works best for me if I spray 2-3 pumps into my hands, then give it a good rub before I apply it to the ends of my hair. I have tried spraying the recommend 6 to 8 inches away from my head, but still feel it gets too close to my roots causing me to look oily or greasy. I think it’s trial and error to find what works best for you individually. I like that it contains Argan Oil, which is known to help add moisture, repair and nourish your hair. The product smells amazing with citrus and tangy notes that aren't overwhelming to me, but then again, I am not sensitive to scents generally. Overall, I have added this shine spray to my daily routine and it helps to keep my hair soft and manageable throughout the day.
